How to setup Cpanel and Apache log rotation in WHM

cpanel log rotation:

1. Login to WHM.

2. Select "Tweak Settings" under "Server Configuration" tab in the left side menu.

3.  Under the tab "Stats & Logs" go to "Log rotation size threshold" settings.

4. Select the threshold size above which old logs will be rotated. Logs will be rotated based upon their size. Files are only rotated when they grow larger than the limit you set here or the default of 300MB.

5. Click "Save" to update the changes made.

apache log rotation:

1. Login to WHM.

2. Select "Apache Configuration" under "Service Configuration" tab in the left side menu.

 

3. Select "Log Rotation" in the Apache configuration page.

4. Click the link "WHM >> Tweak Settings >> Log Rotation Size Threshold"  to define the size of log file.

 

5. Set the limit in "Log rotation size threshold" and click "Save".
