How do I view the website statistics in cPanel?


cPanel offers three options to view the website statistics:

1) Analog Stats
2) AWStats
3) Webalizer

Each options show the site statistics in different ways. You may choose any of it to view the site statistics.

Before using a log program, make sure the 'Log Program' option is enabled in cPanel.

To enable 'Log Programs', follow the below steps:

1) Click 'Choose Log Programs' under 'Logs' section of the home page.


2) Select the desired log programs to view the site statistics.
3) Click 'Save'

1) Analog Stats

It shows the traffic statistics for your domain and organises the data by month.

To view the analog statistics, follow the below steps:

1) Under 'Logs' section  of the home-screen, click 'Analog Stats'.





2) Click the 'magnifying glass icon' to view the statistics of the corresponding domain
3) Click the month and year that you wish to view.

 

Sample analog statistics is shown below:


2)  AWStats

It includes the traffic statistics for your domain in more detailed manner. It displays the following details:

   * Monthly, daily, and hourly statistics
   * The links through which visitors access your website.
   * HTTP status codes.
   * Operating systems.
   * Browser information.
   * Countries of origin.
   * Robots or spides visitors.
   * Number of hits.

To view the Awstats, follow the below steps:

1) Under 'Logs' section  of the home-screen, click  'Awstats'.

 


2) Click the 'magnifying glass icon' to view the statistics of the corresponding domain
3) Select the month and year that you wish to view from the drop down menu 'Reported period'

Sample Awstats is shown below:

 



3) Webalizer

It show the summary of recent statistics for your domain.

To view the Webalizer statistics, follow the below steps:

1) Under 'Logs' section  of the home-screen, click  'Webalizer'

 

2) Click the 'magnifying glass icon' to view the statistics of the corresponding domain
