Steps to generate self signed CSR(SSL) from Plesk


For plesk version 10 and above
=========================

1. Log into the plesk control panel.

2. Select the particular domain from "Domains" list.

3. Select "Websites & Domains" tab.

4. Click on "show advanced operations".

5. Select "Website Scripting and security" option.

6. Enable the check box for "Enable SSL support" option.

7. To add SSL certificate, click on the link "go to this page" under check box.

8. Click on "Add SSL certificate" option.

9. Enter the certificate name and select the appropriate settings.

10. Click on "Request" button. (Now you will receive a email containing the RSA Private Key and the Certificate Signing Request)
11. Upload the certificate files( Private key,certificate,CA certificate) or upload certificate as text.

12. click on "Send Text" to save the certificate.



For plesk version 9
===============


1. Log into the plesk control panel.

2. Select the particular domain from "Domains" list.

3. Select "SSL Certificates" option from "Additional Tools" tab.

4. Click on "Add SSL certificate" option.

5. Enter the certificate name and select the appropriate settings.

6. Click on "Request" button. (Now you will receive a email containing the RSA Private Key and the Certificate Signing     Request)

7. Upload the certificate files( Private key,certificate,CA certificate) or upload certificate as text.

8. click on "Send Text" to save the certificate.
