You can configure E-mail account on iPhone by following the below steps:
1) Select 'Settings' from the home screen of your iPhone.
2) Choose 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars'
3) Choose 'Add Account'
4) Choose 'Other' as shown below:
5) Select 'Add Mail Account'
6) Enter the details as shown below and click 'Next'
Name : <yourname>
Email : <username@yourdomain.com
Password : <your password>
Description : <Specify any description>
7) Select the desired protocol : IMAP / POP
Fill the followig details:
Name : <yourname>
Email : <username@yourdomain.com
Description : <Specify any description>
Incoming Mail Server
Host name : mail.your_domain.com
User Name : <username@yourdomain.com
Password: <your password>
Outgoing Mail Server
Host name : mail.your_domain.com
User Name : <username@yourdomain.com
Password: <your password>
Please note that 'Incoming mail server' & 'Outgoing (SMTP) email server' will be normally 'mail.your_domain.com' for Plesk hosting.
If you have hosted your mails in 'Hosted Exchange' or Icewarp Merak Mail, then SMTP settings will be different.
In case if you are not sure about your SMTP settings, submit a Trouble Ticket to Bytehouse through your ControlCentre or ClientArea.
8) Click on Next.
9) You may have options to enable various services, choose accordingly and click on 'Save' and wait till checking is finished.
9) When the check is finished you will be redirected to Mail, Contacts, Calendars screen.
10) Enter your newly created account and go to 'Account Info'. Select 'Advanced'
Here, you can enable the option 'SSL' which encrypts all your communication
If you have selected IMAP option, then set IMAP Path Prefix to INBOX and set ports accordingly as shown below:
Server ports: 993 (with SSL) and 143 (without SSL).
If you have selected POP option, then set ports accordingly as shown below:
Server ports: 995 (with SSL) and 110 (without SSL).
To set additional settings for 'Outgoing Mail Server', return from the menu 'Account Info' and select the 'Hostname' under 'Outgoing Mail Server'.
Select ports and protocols you want to use for Outgoing Server (SMTP): 465 (with SSL) and 25 (without SSL).
Once settings are verified, the account is active.
