Steps to Add an IP Address to Plesk on a Linux Server

In order to add an IP address to Plesk on a Linux server, here are the steps you will need to take in order to get this accomplished.

  1. Login to Plesk Panel.
  2. Select “Tools & settings” under “Server Management”.

  3. Click “IP Addresses” under “Tools & Resources”.

  4. Click the Add IP Address button toward the top of the page.

  5. Type the new IP address followed by "/32" without the quotes. This is to specify that the IP should use a 32bit subnet mask. This is necessary to ensure proper functionality of your IP. Any other subnet mask will likely cause connection issues.

Select the IP to be Shared or Dedicated. Shared IPs can be used by multiple clients and domains whereas a dedicated IP can only be assigned to one client.

click OK

Input the required info and then click OK
